The School of Art and Science (SAS) of TAR College, organised a talk “How to Deliver a Killer Presentation” on 21st October 2010. The talk was graced by the speaker of Mr Chow Wei Ming founder of Solarex Imaging. An hour talk was divided into 3 slots start from 11am until 2pm and attended by all the School of Arts and Science from Diploma and Advance Diploma students.
The talk aimed to provide students special techniques and skills on mastering the public speaking and presentation. He also emphasis that the presenter is required to have fully practice before the presentation. Moreover, other factors such as appearance, verbal communication, visual communication and time management are very important during presentation.
Students found Mr. Chow talk very informative when he explained on creating a brand to reflect oneself. Mr. Chow ended the talk with the proclamation that “Branding is selling characteristics and with these characteristics, we can build our confidence to overcome fear during the presentation”. Now they can all say No FEAR, I can do it!!.
The responses from the students were good as they actively participate and demonstrated high enthusiasm.

As of 2nd May 2013, Tunku Abdul Rahman College has been upgraded to a full-fledged university status. It is now known as Tunku Abdul Rahman University College.
